A “Spirited” Affair Steeped in American Tradition

Fashion. Cocktails. The NYC Skyline. The Kentucky Derby? All of these things and more came together on a crisp April evening in the Big Apple.

Curated by Black Menswear (ig:@blackmenswear), the “Spirited Soiree II: Road to the Kentucky Derby” took place in the soon-to-be-iconic Panorama Room in Roosevelt Island, NY, overlooking the East River and brought together like-minded Entrepreneurs and Professionals whose mutual love and appreciation for Timeless Style, the Arts, shared Heritage, and Legacy steeped in the traditions established by the immortal race that has become ingrained in America’s identity: The Kentucky Derby. The evening started out with socializing amongst friends and acquaintances- both old and new - sharing stories and creating new memories over Old-Fashioned Bourbons and Woodford Reserve Classic Mint Julep drinks - a signature Derby cocktail.

Before we knew it, the runway completely lit up, where a few of the best-dressed attendees showed off their looks of the soirée (some even went so far as to put them best dance moves on display. Guilty!

Overall, an amazing evening where tradition, style, cocktails, and culture enjoyed a mutually harmonious synergy.
