Reginald Ferguson [00:00:01]:
Hello, I'm Reg.
Tiff [00:00:02]:
And I'm TIFF. And we're the fashion Geeks trying to make New York and the world.
Reginald Ferguson [00:00:06]:
Well, New York is the world.
Tiff [00:00:07]:
A little flyer, one outfit and podcast at a time.
Reginald Ferguson [00:00:17]:
Hey, everybody, welcome back. Or, if you're new, welcome to the ride. I am Reg.
Tiff [00:00:21]:
And I am TIFF.
Reginald Ferguson [00:00:22]:
And we are the Fashion Geeks, here.
Tiff [00:00:25]:
To show you everything.
Reginald Ferguson [00:00:27]:
Oh, my geeky about fashion. That follow up was geeky. It almost felt staged. What happened? TIFF? Are you with us?
Tiff [00:00:37]:
I had a glitch brain. Glitch right there. I was admiring your fashionable shirt.
Reginald Ferguson [00:00:43]:
Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. This is a relatively new shirt.
Tiff [00:00:47]:
Has a nice sheen to it.
Reginald Ferguson [00:00:49]:
Thank you.
Tiff [00:00:49]:
I like it when the fabric is not flat, when there's a dimension to it.
Reginald Ferguson [00:00:53]:
I appreciate that. It's a Sonautica denim dress shirt.
Tiff [00:00:57]:
Yes. And with a contrasting inside collar.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:01]:
Very nice and rocking open collar today.
Tiff [00:01:04]:
Yeah. I noticed that you don't have tie, but you had a pocket square.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:08]:
I always have a pocket square.
Tiff [00:01:09]:
So you can wear a pocket square with no tie.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:11]:
Look at that.
Tiff [00:01:13]:
See, that's a diamond in the rough.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:16]:
That's a rule, listeners.
Tiff [00:01:17]:
Well, it's not a rule.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:19]:
It's free advice. Yeah, it's a fashion tip.
Tiff [00:01:22]:
Exactly. You don't have to pay for that.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:23]:
Before we go any further, let's explain.
Tiff [00:01:25]:
Who we are, because now that I've joined.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:31]:
She'S in the left lane going 90. I'm Reg Ferguson. I am the creator of New York fashion geek. New York fashion geek is a fashion consultancy. We take men, we upgrade their game. We start from closet inventory all the way down to personal shopping and everything in between. Consider me a personal trainer for fashion.
Tiff [00:01:54]:
Excellent. Excellent description of yourself.
Reginald Ferguson [00:01:56]:
Thank you.
Tiff [00:01:57]:
Very nice elevator speech. Oh, it's perfect. It was under two minutes, I think.
Reginald Ferguson [00:02:01]:
Absolutely.
Tiff [00:02:01]:
Yeah. Very nice. Let me see if I can match that. I'm tiffany minutel shriveriber. I am, or was a costume designer for many, many years. My mother taught me how to sew, and I was nine years old.
Reginald Ferguson [00:02:14]:
Wow.
Tiff [00:02:14]:
So I sewed my first garment at that young, tender age.
Reginald Ferguson [00:02:17]:
What was the garment?
Tiff [00:02:19]:
It was like a short jumper set. I think they call it romper when it's relevant.
Reginald Ferguson [00:02:24]:
For now.
Tiff [00:02:25]:
Yeah. So that was the very first thing I sewed. And I just loved creating something for myself. So as I grew up, I got interested in costumes because I was a theater actress as well. And every show I auditioned for, as soon as I told them I designed and build costumes, they're like, you're hired to be an actress and a costume designer. So I did that for many, many years. And I come to fashion from that angle, from the fabric angle, the design, the form, the fit. That's what I like about fashion. And menswear, which is your forte, is something that is not necessarily my forte.
Reginald Ferguson [00:03:08]:
And you have a husband, and I.
Tiff [00:03:09]:
Have a husband who always asks my advice.
Reginald Ferguson [00:03:12]:
He needs to be asking my advice. No offense.
Tiff [00:03:15]:
He is listening, I promise.
Reginald Ferguson [00:03:17]:
Come on, Michael. I'm not that expensive. You can afford me.
Tiff [00:03:22]:
He's a firefighter. Of course he can afford you. So what have you been up to lately since the last time we talked? I know the both of us went to yet another Bruno Molly event yes. That we got invited to.
Reginald Ferguson [00:03:35]:
Yes, we did. Yes, we did. Second round with me and old Mr. Molly.
Tiff [00:03:41]:
It was a very positive event.
Reginald Ferguson [00:03:43]:
It was absolutely. It was a collabo with Bruno O'Malley and Dress for Success.
Tiff [00:03:49]:
And Dress for Success, as I said in one of our prior episodes, is one of my favorite not for profit organizations. I would love to work for them.
Reginald Ferguson [00:03:57]:
TIFF I keep on forgetting. You need to take that info, that individual that I met.
Tiff [00:04:03]:
Yes.
Reginald Ferguson [00:04:03]:
And introduce yourself.
Tiff [00:04:05]:
Yes, I do.
Reginald Ferguson [00:04:05]:
Please remind me after we do this because I still have the business card. So I met someone from Dress for Success at the Bruno Molly store. I had a wonderful experience this time at the Bruno Molly store. And I love just being at an event that's about altruism.
Tiff [00:04:23]:
Yes.
Reginald Ferguson [00:04:23]:
Because even with New York fashion geek, when we do a closet inventory, we take your gear, your excess gear and donate it to the Bowie mission. That's extremely important to me. That's really a family trait when I was growing up, clothing that we no longer needed, we always gave to our church.
Tiff [00:04:42]:
Excellent. I always give to the Salvation Army.
Reginald Ferguson [00:04:46]:
There you go.
Tiff [00:04:47]:
It helps the homeless and the ones coming off drugs. I think that's really valid. And something this city needs, helping those who are down on their luck and really struggling to make a difference in their own lives.
Reginald Ferguson [00:05:01]:
Absolutely.
Tiff [00:05:01]:
So if it can help with a stitch of clothing, I'm there.
Reginald Ferguson [00:05:04]:
No, that sounds great. I mean, that's what it's about.
Tiff [00:05:06]:
And Dress for Success just takes that to another level.
Reginald Ferguson [00:05:09]:
Dress for Success, I just found out through that individual is worldwide. Boom. I had no clue.
Tiff [00:05:18]:
I didn't either, actually. I didn't know they were international.
Reginald Ferguson [00:05:20]:
I remember how many countries she said I was gobsmacked.
Tiff [00:05:24]:
And it's something that's absolutely needed and wonderful. And they've gotten so big that they actually have these brand collabos now. And it used to be that they would take cast off business suits and business dress wear for men and women and then have that in their inventory to then turn around and give to those who are looking for their first job coming off the street or coming out of drug rehab or whatever. Now they've got new stuff, new stuff that they're given to these people. So they even look even shinier and dressier and ready to go.
Reginald Ferguson [00:05:58]:
Their lineup in terms of designers is so prodigious. I was just like, what can we do? How can we help?
Tiff [00:06:08]:
How can we get in there and well, what you do is I mean, if you go in and you help somebody clean up their closet, if you've got any kind of sort of really nice suits, donate them to Dress for Success. Help that next man or woman, depending on who's right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:06:23]:
It's dressed for success.
Tiff [00:06:24]:
Right. Man or woman.
Reginald Ferguson [00:06:25]:
So it's woman.
Tiff [00:06:26]:
Well, don't they have no? Dress for Success is only female.
Reginald Ferguson [00:06:31]:
Yeah, that's why, as Geek number two.
Tiff [00:06:35]:
I should have known that.
Reginald Ferguson [00:06:37]:
Representing the Nyfg. That's why I need you to extend the olive branch and see what we can do.
Tiff [00:06:44]:
Yes, sir. I'm on it.
Reginald Ferguson [00:06:47]:
So the event was entitled Bruno in Business. I like that. Alliteration yes.
Tiff [00:06:52]:
I had a nice, really pretty smoothie, smooth, smoothie, smooth.
Reginald Ferguson [00:06:56]:
Tiffany, let's keep it real. We're all about giving back, but you were trying to make something happen for yourself with a bag.
Tiff [00:07:04]:
I wanted to take that bag.
Reginald Ferguson [00:07:05]:
Yes, you did. Well, you were going to pay for.
Tiff [00:07:08]:
The bag, of course. Yes.
Reginald Ferguson [00:07:10]:
Which would have been a great donation to Dress for Success. You would have put your money where your mouth was. I'm just saying.
Tiff [00:07:15]:
Right. If I had that bankroll in my account, which I did not.
Reginald Ferguson [00:07:20]:
I thought that Michael was notified that Christmas was coming.
Tiff [00:07:24]:
He's saving his pennies now.
Reginald Ferguson [00:07:27]:
You could see the photo of the bag on my Insta. New York fashion geek on the Insta. You could see it.
Tiff [00:07:35]:
Oh, yeah. And it looked good on me.
Reginald Ferguson [00:07:39]:
Very striking.
Tiff [00:07:40]:
Me. It's my style. It had three different sections with a center pouch. It was like suede with a reptile, which was a faux reptile, faux reptile centerpiece, which was beautiful. Different shades of gray. It's just perfect for anything I would want to wear for fall and winter.
Reginald Ferguson [00:07:59]:
When you guys look at that Insta again at New York Fashion Geek, you will see her cheesing while rocking that bag. And big shout out to Paris, the head salesperson at Bruno. Molly. Hopefully we're going to have him on.
Tiff [00:08:14]:
He was an awesome dude.
Reginald Ferguson [00:08:15]:
He's a very nice guy.
Tiff [00:08:16]:
He literally put that bag on me. I had nothing to do with it.
Reginald Ferguson [00:08:19]:
It just sort of yeah, just all.
Tiff [00:08:21]:
Of a sudden, magically.
Reginald Ferguson [00:08:22]:
Yeah. I don't know how this is on my shoulder.
Tiff [00:08:26]:
There was another thing that we liked there that I hope you posted on your Instagram page. Those shoes. Those shoes that faded from sore to patent leather. One single piece of leather.
Reginald Ferguson [00:08:39]:
I did not post that yet.
Tiff [00:08:40]:
Oh, what a process. That was beautiful.
Reginald Ferguson [00:08:42]:
That was really interesting. Yes, it was striking. It was.
Tiff [00:08:45]:
And the technique behind that with that, as Paris explained, those shoes are all one piece of leather that are sewn down the center of the footbed, and then the sole is put on top, and then they polish the patent leather section of it's. Basically, you just keep rubbing and rubbing, rubbing and rubbing and rubbing that leather and it gets all shiny and then you brush the other part and that makes it suede. It's just so well done, what they did. It created this beautiful fade. It was gorgeous.
Reginald Ferguson [00:09:16]:
The watch word for today is patina.
Tiff [00:09:19]:
Patina?
Reginald Ferguson [00:09:19]:
Yeah. Well, I mean, that's essentially what we're talking about in terms of the representation of the shoe. It was sharp.
Tiff [00:09:27]:
Very nice, man.
Reginald Ferguson [00:09:29]:
Bruno Maui's. Not just for OJ anymore. I couldn't help myself.
Tiff [00:09:36]:
And on that, let's move on to what else? I've been traveling a lot.
Reginald Ferguson [00:09:42]:
Yes. You're like our Carmen. San Diego. Where in the world have you been? Because I have every weekend.
Tiff [00:09:47]:
Yeah, I know. It was jetsetter. Insane. Insane. But also while I've been traveling, I've been seeing some films on the airplane and I've been watching things that you've been telling me to watch. And one of the things I watched we're going to talk about is my fashion Hero. So I'll hold up on that.
Reginald Ferguson [00:10:06]:
That's right.
Tiff [00:10:07]:
But while I was watching these movies, you actually had a client.
Reginald Ferguson [00:10:11]:
I did. My client is Bob Bonnage, who works for Keral Williams, New York City. He's a real estate broker. He's originally from the Philadelphia region. I have to say that because he knows he's not from Center City, but he reps PA very strongly. Matter of fact, he hooked me up with some Philly pretzels. Oh, they're very good.
Tiff [00:10:34]:
Nice.
Reginald Ferguson [00:10:34]:
Very tasty. He doesn't like New York City pretzels. I wasn't going to give it up to him like that. They're different.
Tiff [00:10:42]:
To each his own pretzel.
Reginald Ferguson [00:10:43]:
Exactly. But they were very good. But I have been looking for Mr. Bonnage. A bag. A messenger bag.
Tiff [00:10:53]:
Jack spade messenger bag.
Reginald Ferguson [00:10:55]:
No.
Tiff [00:10:56]:
Okay.
Reginald Ferguson [00:10:56]:
No, no, that's funny, because he actually has a Jack Spade messenger bag, but he doesn't know what to do with it. Right.
Tiff [00:11:03]:
Bob Troubadour messenger bag.
Reginald Ferguson [00:11:06]:
He actually listened to the podcast. He is a subscriber to the Fashion Geeks.
Tiff [00:11:12]:
Thank you.
Reginald Ferguson [00:11:13]:
And he per you. And your sales pitch was working the numbers for the Troubadour. The troubadour. The troubadour messenger bag.
Tiff [00:11:23]:
Yes.
Reginald Ferguson [00:11:24]:
And he's not going to do it close, but yet so far it wasn't physically responsible. I don't know about physically, but fiscally, he just decided to do something else.
Tiff [00:11:37]:
Fiscally. It's what I said. Hello. Frog in my throat there for a minute.
Reginald Ferguson [00:11:42]:
So I've been looking for this bag for him intently for months. He's very persnickety. I finally succeeded last week.
Tiff [00:11:53]:
Yeah? What'd you get?
Reginald Ferguson [00:11:54]:
I got him a Sanvist messenger bag.
Tiff [00:11:58]:
Sanvist.
Reginald Ferguson [00:11:59]:
Sanvist. Actually, two. We got him two bags.
Tiff [00:12:02]:
Wow. Can you spell that?
Reginald Ferguson [00:12:04]:
Yes. S-A-N-D-Q-V-I-S-T sandvisk.
Tiff [00:12:09]:
Sandvist.
Reginald Ferguson [00:12:10]:
Yes. Well, it's from Sweden. Sweden.
Tiff [00:12:14]:
They just throw those vowels, consonants, anywhere.
Reginald Ferguson [00:12:16]:
They want to do whatever they need to do.
Tiff [00:12:18]:
Yeah. Okay.
Reginald Ferguson [00:12:18]:
So he got a leather messenger bag and he got a cotton messenger bag. And I thought about you, TIFF, because the cotton is organic cotton.
Tiff [00:12:29]:
Oh, yay.
Reginald Ferguson [00:12:31]:
They deal with a factory and a mill in India.
Tiff [00:12:35]:
Okay.
Reginald Ferguson [00:12:35]:
And it was very interesting thinking about you, as I read it, just about the benefits of sourcing organic cotton versus inorganic cotton.
Tiff [00:12:45]:
Let's hear it.
Reginald Ferguson [00:12:46]:
Well, I'm going to take a stab at it. First of all, there are so many chemicals in the process of what we consider regular cotton. It blew my mind, because for me, when I think of organic and inorganic, I think about food.
Tiff [00:13:02]:
Right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:13:02]:
I'm a member of the Park Soil Food Co op, not giving the food co op a shout out. And you know why? Food co op. But I'm going to make sure to tag you if you're on Insta because you're not doing right. So it was very interesting. Again, the chemical process and how that damages the environment versus sourcing. Just straight up organic cotton.
Tiff [00:13:27]:
Yeah. It damages the water sources. The water that uses to process the cotton, it damages the fiber, the cotton fiber itself, it takes away some of the softness. So your organic cotton is going to have a plumper feel when it's woven, but it's also going to be soft, super soft. That's why in India, they have a thing called supima cotton, which is if, you know, you buy quality sheets, you're going to have pima cotton or supima cotton. That's going to be your nicest sheets. It's going to be your softest. And if you can get organic supima cotton, you're rocking it. You're sleeping good that night.
Reginald Ferguson [00:14:06]:
Well, he'll be carrying his materials very well.
Tiff [00:14:09]:
Good.
Reginald Ferguson [00:14:10]:
We got him a Black Messenger bag, but then the leather joint, just to let you know. Vegetable tan leather.
Tiff [00:14:17]:
Oh, that's awesome.
Reginald Ferguson [00:14:19]:
Yeah, I know that's your thing.
Tiff [00:14:20]:
Yeah. Well, that's going to be waterproof well, water resistant, so for sure. That's good. Excellent.
Reginald Ferguson [00:14:26]:
Yeah. So I knew I saw these bags. He was not with me. I called him, left him a message. He called me back, and I did something I rarely do. I sent my client out to obtain.
Tiff [00:14:40]:
The bags without you.
Reginald Ferguson [00:14:41]:
Yeah, we had to schedule wise.
Tiff [00:14:43]:
All right, well, it's cool that we know that that's an option. Now, anyone interested?
Reginald Ferguson [00:14:48]:
Sure. I mean, I feel me being in attendance makes all the difference, but I'll let you fly on your own. All right, so he did that. He bought two bags. Very happy with them. You can see that also on the Insta, new York fashion geek.
Tiff [00:15:04]:
All right, I'll check it out.
Reginald Ferguson [00:15:06]:
He made it happen. And also, just talking a little bit more about the company, like I said, they're from Sweden. They're based out of Stockholm. Cotton is what they do, leather is what they do. But also when they just do material bags, let's say, like synthetic, it's all recycled fibers.
Tiff [00:15:21]:
Oh, nice.
Reginald Ferguson [00:15:21]:
And they're part of something that I thought about you again, the Fairweather Foundation and all this really, is just referencing our episode. If you haven't heard it, listeners, on troubadour bags, and I got him a crazy good deal. It was a steal.
Tiff [00:15:37]:
Nice.
Reginald Ferguson [00:15:37]:
Yes.
Tiff [00:15:38]:
And this is why people should hire you to help them with their closets or attain a new suit or a new shirt. Because you got the ins.
Reginald Ferguson [00:15:47]:
I know what I'm doing. Also, before we transition, he bought a raincoat. You had mentioned waterproof and blah, blah, blah, blah.
Tiff [00:15:55]:
Right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:15:55]:
He also again, I advised him he bought a NB waterproof raincoat. Freaking loves it. You could also see that on the Insta Xlenb. Yeah, they're a brand out of England.
Tiff [00:16:06]:
Okay, well, New England is about rain.
Reginald Ferguson [00:16:08]:
Yeah. They rep that strong. They're like, do you know where we're from? We're from New England. We got this.
Tiff [00:16:13]:
The only better would be what? London or Seattle.
Reginald Ferguson [00:16:15]:
Right.
Tiff [00:16:16]:
Get a raincoat made by them and you'll be sure to be dry. Right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:16:20]:
So big shout out to my client, Bob.
Tiff [00:16:23]:
Thanks, Bob.
Reginald Ferguson [00:16:25]:
You look fly.
Tiff [00:16:26]:
Excellent.
Reginald Ferguson [00:16:32]:
Fashion. Fashion.
Tiff [00:16:39]:
So let's get back to one of the films I watched on one of my flights, my mini flights to and from this past month and a half that I've been traveling, I watched. And this is going to be my fashion hero of the week. The House of Z. It's a documentary film about designer Zach Posen.
Reginald Ferguson [00:16:59]:
Oh, you said Z. I thought this was no, no.
Tiff [00:17:03]:
This young man, and he is a young man compared to me. Zach Posen.
Reginald Ferguson [00:17:08]:
Yeah, Zach Posen, now superfly designer.
Tiff [00:17:12]:
What really blew my mind was, first of all, I'll be the first to say he is my fashion hero. But it's not because I own one article of clothing by Zach Posen or a handbag, or he's now into shoes or shoes. I don't own any of it. But when I watch this film, oh, my gosh, his story is interesting. It's like a roller coaster. It's like it's literally the rise and fall and the rise again.
Reginald Ferguson [00:17:41]:
Yeah, I know he had a dip.
Tiff [00:17:43]:
He's a kid.
Reginald Ferguson [00:17:44]:
So break it down.
Tiff [00:17:45]:
Well, okay. So he has to be my fashion hero because I was rooting for him in this documentary. It was well done. I have to put it out there that he gave up all rights, any kind of final cut rights to this.
Reginald Ferguson [00:18:02]:
I thought you meant he gave up his name rights.
Tiff [00:18:05]:
He gave up all sounds like something final cut rights. Because he'd worked with her before on a prior shorter piece that they did for something in Canada.
Reginald Ferguson [00:18:14]:
That's trust.
Tiff [00:18:15]:
But anyway, so he couldn't have final say. And so he gave a very honest look. Know his entree into the fashion world.
Reginald Ferguson [00:18:27]:
And his he's a native New Yorker, isn't he?
Tiff [00:18:30]:
Native New Yorker. Grew up in Soho, went to St. Anne's, which is a very artsy fartsy school.
Reginald Ferguson [00:18:37]:
Our producer search knows St. Anne's. My aunt's name anne.
Tiff [00:18:41]:
His mother was a lawyer. His father was a painter. So he was in a Soho loft. So he was in that artistic freedom kind of upbringing at the time, and he was very self expressed as a youth when he was finding that he was clearly artistic. He started as a little boy. He had these dolls, and he would take scraps of fabric that he would find walking around the garment district and just take little scraps of fabric, or scraps of fabric that his father would bring home for his art, and you'd make little clothes for his dolls. That's how it started for him. I did the same thing with my dolls. I sure did.
Reginald Ferguson [00:19:24]:
Wow.
Tiff [00:19:24]:
My Barbie and my Wonder Woman, they had three different outfits each, and he was doing the same thing. So I was like, okay, I got to keep watching this. What happens? Here what happens. I found out that at the age of 21, after designing pieces for fellow.
Reginald Ferguson [00:19:42]:
Students do you go to Fit?
Tiff [00:19:44]:
He did, yeah. Oh, actually, no, I'm sorry. I'm confusing him.
Reginald Ferguson [00:19:50]:
I just assumed native New Yorker.
Tiff [00:19:52]:
He actually went two years to a school in London and dropped out because one of his muses from high school, he had some very famous females, young at age that he would dress and he would build an outfit for them, and they would go out and wear it in the party scene. And one of them got noticed by The New York Times brand Ambassadors, 21 years old, he blew up. He dropped out of the school in London. He came back to New York, and he was now building his fashion line in his home with his family, his mother, his sister, his father, helping him to build everything. And his first fashion show was in the Soho loft. The models coming from different rooms with the different that's a big ass loft, people. It wasn't it was small.
Reginald Ferguson [00:20:39]:
That's a small ass loft.
Tiff [00:20:40]:
And it's like a 21 piece show or 25 piece, I don't know exactly. It was a very small, intimate, couture show because he made all these pieces himself. But he landed I can't remember who he landed, but he blew up at the age of 21.
Reginald Ferguson [00:20:57]:
He's won the CDFA award, has he not?
Tiff [00:21:00]:
I'm not sure about that. What made it so amazing was that he's 21. So you remember when you were 21?
Reginald Ferguson [00:21:09]:
Yes.
Tiff [00:21:10]:
And when you got success like that at the age of 21, you would be the cock of the walk, right?
Reginald Ferguson [00:21:15]:
I would, yeah.
Tiff [00:21:16]:
Me too.
Reginald Ferguson [00:21:16]:
Particularly. I'm a guy.
Tiff [00:21:17]:
I would be like, I've been walking with the he's what we Southerners call he got too big for his britches.
Reginald Ferguson [00:21:25]:
We say that here in the north, too.
Tiff [00:21:27]:
Oh, do you really? Oh, I thought it was a no.
Reginald Ferguson [00:21:29]:
I'm not saying it's not a Southern thing.
Tiff [00:21:32]:
Industry after his first big show yeah.
Reginald Ferguson [00:21:36]:
What happened?
Tiff [00:21:37]:
Well, he apparently it's different things that you hear from different people. But he came out and had to toe tuck tails with his hair slicked back looking like a vampire, apparently. And he hissed at the press corps, which I guess that's a winning move. Yeah. No, but he was a cocky 21 year old at the time. He might have been older than 21, but he was in his low 20s.
Reginald Ferguson [00:22:02]:
Understood.
Tiff [00:22:02]:
And so the fashion industry was like, what's up with this young thing?
Reginald Ferguson [00:22:08]:
This young stud?
Tiff [00:22:10]:
So he kept producing and producing, and he just kept getting bigger and bigger. He caught the eye of Puff Daddy and who really wanted to launch him to the next level. Wanted? He sort of kind of went begrudgingly into a partnership. And I say begrudgingly with Pete diddy. Yeah. Who brought many investors his way.
Reginald Ferguson [00:22:38]:
He definitely won a CDFA award.
Tiff [00:22:40]:
Okay.
Reginald Ferguson [00:22:41]:
Yeah, he definitely did.
Tiff [00:22:42]:
But the story that fascinates me about this kid is what got him all this acclaim was the fact that he had this artistry that was the stuff he designed were party dresses. And then he moved into evening gowns and oh, my God, those evening gowns remind me of old Hollywood glamour.
Reginald Ferguson [00:23:02]:
Really?
Tiff [00:23:05]:
He even said this. You could even tell by his dresses. There were pieces of architecture. And he would say in the film, he said that one of his pieces, the PS de Resistance in one of his shows, he looked up at this building with this couplea up top, and he turned that into the skirt of the dress.
Reginald Ferguson [00:23:25]:
Oh, that's hot.
Tiff [00:23:26]:
Which is very theatrical and kind of sort of my similar I have a similar I get inspired by that as well. Architecture is extremely inspiring to me because it informs on structure, and so is designing and building costumes or fashion. It's structure, and it's turning structure into fabric, which moves, but it could still have a form to it and structure. So that's what fascinated me so much about Zach. The reason why he was my hero was because as he got bigger and bigger, he got further and further away from the artistry that made his name.
Reginald Ferguson [00:24:05]:
I think that's going to happen no matter what you do.
Tiff [00:24:08]:
He blew up so big. The whole fashion industry, everybody wanted a piece of him. His mom started making, who was his manager, started making deals with basically diluting.
Reginald Ferguson [00:24:19]:
Him, in a way. Merchandising.
Tiff [00:24:20]:
Yeah. And he felt like she was selling him cheap, and so it created family drama. And so he kicked his mother out, his sister quit. All of this happened. And then the show at that point, he was so far away from his artistry, he was just having to pump out a show because there were so many different shows during the year at this time. That the show that he put out. I can't remember what year it was, but it was a failure, apparently. Word. Yeah. One of the toughest critics was, like, turned to another critic and said, Why are we here? And the other critic said, I have no idea. Oh, yeah, you don't want that. And then he hit rock bottom money wise. They couldn't keep up the business. Yeah. Because he just got too big for his britches. And so the fashion industry handed him a little bit of humble pie, and he had to eat it, and he did a lot of self reflection. He had to spend some time mending things with his family and just basically getting back to the roots of what made him, which was getting back to the evening gown looks, which that glamour, that hoat couture kind of thing. And that's what attracts me about him. And so he just went back to square one, and he just started creating with his hands going back. And the one thing that impresses me most about Zach is he works from draping. I'm a pattern maker. You take your measurements, I take the numbers, I draw, I flat pattern, I draft it, cut out a piece of fabric, put it together, and then I fit you, and then I alter where it needs to be altered. He's starting with this piece of fabric, and he's just attaching it with pins on a mannequin, and he's just working with the movement and where it's supposed to go. This piece goes there, this piece goes there, me cutting here, pinning there, and the next thing you know, you have a dress just from draping this fabric all around, and then everything that's there is just taken off, and there's your pattern. It's an amazing process, very artistic in its approach. You start with the art first, and then you work backwards to the pattern, whereas I start a design, but then I come have to translate that design to a pattern to make it happen. It's just a different approach, but it's an amazing approach that I never learned. I never learned how to drape, so I'm always impressed by it. And it's beautiful to see it happening, because you can see the mechanisms in his brain as he's actually creating that piece of outfit, whatever part he's working on, and then when it all comes together, it's insane. Very. So I was just wow. I was just wowed by this youngster who has so much creativity left, and he just scratched himself back up from the bottom. And now he has an atte where he can do what he's meant to do. But he's also, like I said, he expanded into handbags. You can go online, Zachposen.com, and you can see he also has shoe offerings as well. And he's sort know, kicking back. He's learned lessons about who he is, how to present himself. He's on Project Runway, one of the hosts.
Reginald Ferguson [00:27:46]:
Oh, I didn't know that. I haven't watched that in a long time.
Tiff [00:27:49]:
6Th season that he's been on the show. So the fashion industry can chew you up and spit you out, and you may never come back.
Reginald Ferguson [00:28:00]:
Sure.
Tiff [00:28:01]:
But he did. He's a comeback kid, and that's why he's my fashion hero.
Reginald Ferguson [00:28:09]:
Enough said, right?
Tiff [00:28:11]:
So you have to watch the movie.
Reginald Ferguson [00:28:13]:
I would like to watch it. I love documentaries.
Tiff [00:28:16]:
Yeah, I love to watch documentaries all the time, and I felt a special connection to this one because of my background, and I was not disappointed.
Reginald Ferguson [00:28:24]:
Right on. TIFF, that was your first fashion hero.
Tiff [00:28:27]:
No. Audrey Hepburn was. Remember?
Reginald Ferguson [00:28:29]:
Oh, my God. That was your second fashion hero.
Tiff [00:28:33]:
May I add that I hope we edit that. May I add that Zach Posen does his muse and if you go online, is Katie Holmes. And I'm sorry, katie Holmes and Audrey Hepburn. I mean, they can be one in the same, if you ask me.
Reginald Ferguson [00:28:49]:
Oh, really?
Tiff [00:28:49]:
Look at some of those pictures.
Reginald Ferguson [00:28:53]:
Is this on the website?
Tiff [00:28:54]:
On the website, there was a photographer who just took pictures of all of his stuff with her in it, and it's just he has many muses, but this is his friend, his muse, who he's highlighting right now, and she's just one of those. I swear to God, she looks like Audrey Hepburn for sure. In one of her much too much.
Reginald Ferguson [00:29:16]:
TIFF, this was your second fashion hero.
Tiff [00:29:19]:
Yes.
Reginald Ferguson [00:29:19]:
I think you need to keep on doing this because you're red in the face. You matching the spit guard on the mic. Just all red, man. No, it's great to flip it and learn now from you.
Tiff [00:29:33]:
Right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:29:34]:
And I know the name, but I.
Tiff [00:29:36]:
Learned a lot more, and I knew the name, but like I said, I didn't own a piece of his clothing, and I won't be able to own a piece of his clothing for a long while. I don't think that sounds like I.
Reginald Ferguson [00:29:46]:
Must have it for you.
Tiff [00:29:47]:
Yeah, it is. Wow. Let me tell you. I must have a Zach Posen evening gown and an event to wear it to. How about that?
Reginald Ferguson [00:29:55]:
Sounds good.
Tiff [00:29:57]:
But that is not our I must have it fashion item of the week.
Reginald Ferguson [00:30:00]:
Oh, no.
Tiff [00:30:01]:
No. Okay, so we changed it up a little bit.
Reginald Ferguson [00:30:03]:
Takeover.
Tiff [00:30:04]:
We changed it up a little know. This is a menswear we're talking about menswear for the everyday man. That's what we're trying to provide for the everyday man out there. But every now and then, we got to throw in a little female.
Reginald Ferguson [00:30:18]:
Got to do something for the lady. Absolutely.
Tiff [00:30:21]:
A men's fashion does take from female fashion.
Reginald Ferguson [00:30:24]:
Absolutely. I am greatly influenced by the women in my life in terms of family.
Tiff [00:30:28]:
And there are some fashion items that are gender neutral, so they can be for men or for women.
Reginald Ferguson [00:30:35]:
Sure.
Tiff [00:30:36]:
And our fashion must have item of the day kind of sort of rides that line. So reg. First of all, the fashion I must have item.
Reginald Ferguson [00:30:50]:
I must have it have.
Tiff [00:30:56]:
Item. What it is is an item that Regis discerned. He must have or we must have.
Reginald Ferguson [00:31:05]:
I thought you must have it. That's why I gave it to you.
Tiff [00:31:11]:
All. Right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:31:11]:
Because it would actually be physically impossible. Well, much less physically impossible for me to acquire it.
Tiff [00:31:17]:
All right, well, let's say what it is. What is the fashion? I must have it. Item of the day.
Reginald Ferguson [00:31:22]:
Well, why don't you tell us, too? Because I gave it to you.
Tiff [00:31:25]:
The Nike special field air Force One rainboot.
Reginald Ferguson [00:31:30]:
My producer search, his eyes just lit up. I am hoping that he does a search on that. Oh, gosh, that was redundant. But I want him to Google that so he could see what we're about to talk about, because I think he's intrigued.
Tiff [00:31:46]:
So what it is, it's a rainboot for females?
Reginald Ferguson [00:31:49]:
A dope ass rainboot.
Tiff [00:31:53]:
It's a rainboot for females.
Reginald Ferguson [00:31:56]:
My co host, ladies and gentlemen, is not in agreement. I gave this to her as a layup, a point guard, given the dime, and she did not she is not feeling this.
Tiff [00:32:09]:
No, it's not that I'm not feeling it.
Reginald Ferguson [00:32:12]:
Wait, I think we have a tiebreaker. Our producer search. He's nodding. I wouldn't wear it, but I wouldn't stop you from doing it.
Tiff [00:32:21]:
And that's what I think, too. I read about it. And let's talk about what we read, what I read, because I'm sure you're all about it and you know all about it. What I found out about this is that it's a riff on the men's. Dope that. It's a riff on the men's. Air Force ones.
Reginald Ferguson [00:32:39]:
Yes. AF one.
Tiff [00:32:40]:
AF one. But it's waterproof. It's a rain boot. And what I said to you was, I don't see myself wearing that too much, except for maybe walking dogs. And I guess I would be quite fashionable. Walking dogs.
Reginald Ferguson [00:32:54]:
You would be fly. And the theme of New York fashion geek is always be fly. That is our tagline. I'm trying to help you out. Is it the color?
Tiff [00:33:06]:
Yeah, the all white. So first of all, it's all white.
Reginald Ferguson [00:33:09]:
No, the one I showed you is beige. The one I gave you is beige. Obviously, it comes in a multitude of colors.
Tiff [00:33:19]:
Well, the men's is attractive. I like the men's air Force Ones, those are nice.
Reginald Ferguson [00:33:29]:
But this is the Air Force One in terms of not what I'm talking about. This is Air Force One. The men's Right, but we're not talking about that.
Tiff [00:33:37]:
No, we're talking about the ladies. Yes.
Reginald Ferguson [00:33:39]:
We're talking about this boot, which is this rainboot.
Tiff [00:33:42]:
Well, my version that I saw was all white. So if it comes in a tan no, I would like that better.
Reginald Ferguson [00:33:46]:
Oh, well, it comes in right. Oh, wait, wait. So you coming over to the yeah.
Tiff [00:33:54]:
I might be, because I've never liked an all white sneaker. As soon as you get on the subway, it's all scuffed up. What's the point?
Reginald Ferguson [00:33:59]:
Serge, would it be possible for you to show her the beige of this on your laptop? Would that be possible?
Tiff [00:34:10]:
That's the men's brand, which I brought.
Reginald Ferguson [00:34:14]:
Up, because what's the true breakdown of it. It's the woman's entitled woman's desert.
Tiff [00:34:23]:
Well, what you sent me was the Nike special field Air Force One rainboot.
Reginald Ferguson [00:34:32]:
That's what he needs.
Tiff [00:34:32]:
So what that is, is it's a combination?
Reginald Ferguson [00:34:35]:
Yeah, it should come, like, in an earth tone. That's the one I sent her.
Tiff [00:34:38]:
It's a combination of they have one boot that's a special field boot for guys. And another that's a mashup one.
Reginald Ferguson [00:34:45]:
It's a mashup.
Tiff [00:34:46]:
So it's a mashup of the two.
Reginald Ferguson [00:34:51]:
It's okay, we don't need a dilly dally.
Tiff [00:34:54]:
But what I read was it's a follow up to the Nike Air Force Ones, the men's a year to the date.
Reginald Ferguson [00:35:02]:
If you search that phrase I gave.
Tiff [00:35:04]:
You.
Reginald Ferguson [00:35:08]:
And then do. Comma and then do. Comma business week. You'll see the image?
Tiff [00:35:13]:
Yes. It was featured on Bloomberg Business Week.
Reginald Ferguson [00:35:15]:
Yeah, I still call it Business Week. I'm a subscriber.
Tiff [00:35:18]:
At first, when I saw them, I was like, not my style.
Reginald Ferguson [00:35:23]:
I'm getting beat.
Tiff [00:35:24]:
And then I read about our producer.
Reginald Ferguson [00:35:27]:
Search also doesn't like wait. Ladies and gentlemen, our producer now is so here's the deal. How are you, Search? I'm good, man. Thank you.
Tiff [00:35:38]:
Thanks for joining us.
Reginald Ferguson [00:35:38]:
Yeah, of course. Longtime listener, now, first time guest here's. The deal with these is, I'm so predisposed and conditioned. I have so many pairs of Air Force Ones that I can't see it as a boot. My brain's not processing this. Okay, so you're not flexible. Yeah, well, this is why I don't like it. Right. Which is why I'm allowed to. Right? Yes. I'm allowed to. Not like this. Absolutely. So this is why I can't see this as a boot. So thank you and good night. All right, well, both of you. First of all, I offer this to my co host Tiffany, ladies and gentlemen, because I thought she would like it, therefore, she would have to have it. Clearly, I was incorrect.
Tiff [00:36:26]:
Well, that doesn't mean anything. Do you have to have the men's version?
Reginald Ferguson [00:36:31]:
This is not about me. This is the TIFF takeover episode. So this was you. I was like, oh, I think you might like this. As a matter of fact, maybe as a typical man. Well, I wasn't trying to think for you. I was just like, oh, I saw this. I read up on it, and I thought of, ah, okay. That's the reason why I cannot indulge in this, ladies and gentlemen, is a woman's boot. I'm a grown ass man. I cannot do this.
Tiff [00:36:54]:
Well, Reg, I have to thank you very much for giving me some fly props, because you clearly think I'm flier than I really am.
Reginald Ferguson [00:37:02]:
You have that with your Parker.
Tiff [00:37:06]:
Yeah. I'm just saying my parker, which I don't.
Reginald Ferguson [00:37:11]:
I'm going to hit both of these people up. Ladies and gentlemen, our producer, Search and Tiffany. I thought they were cool. I like the color. I like that rope. I like the length, the zipper. I feel it's a real New York city shoe. That's all I'm saying. We got our producer. Fine.
Tiff [00:37:37]:
Well, I did a little research because I'm like, there's got to be a reason why Reg thinks that this is I must have an item for me. And so I researched it. I learned about the designer and what his thoughts were and what he know to come up with this. But let's take this shoe. Yeah, well, basically combining both shoes, the designer. Yeah. And the designer, interestingly enough, is this gentleman named Ben Kirschner. And he was previously at Jordan Brand, which we all know is a favorite of yours. And he's been working there for a little over a year. But because these designs take about 18 months to come out, his stuff is just now coming out. And this was what he worked on first, was the mashup between the two. And creating he wanted to create something that was sort of, like I said earlier, gender fluid. That's what he likes to do. And in creating this rainboot for the women, he's riffing on what was already there for the men. And combining those things, they really thought about the height level. They didn't want to make it like a military boot, which was going to be too high. Right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:38:47]:
I like the length.
Tiff [00:38:48]:
They really worked on that. One thing that I found was interesting when he was talking about so I'm reading in the interview this is from an article I found. It's a Ben Kirstner interview by complex. And talking about talking about what he did and when he worked. Do you feel like you can push your work as far as you wanted to, or do you feel the need to show restraint? And his answer was working at Nike. He can do either of those. You can push it yourself or you can restrain. It's up to you. Nike gives you the freedom to design like that, which I think is very cool, because as we already talked about, nike is on the forefront of a lot of stuff. And the fact that they give their designers plenty of room to work means they don't stifle creativity there, which is probably why they are in the forefront. Because things they're always to me on it.
Reginald Ferguson [00:39:47]:
Latitude is attitude.
Tiff [00:39:49]:
I like that. I like that a lot. So one thing, another question is, do you think it's more important for a designer to be fluent in sneaker culture or design? Which I thought was a very good question. And his answer to that is he thinks you need to be well versed in culture. It's not about an architect or designer. He said the most successful designers know about culture because they're building these shoes. They understand the sport that they're designing for, and they understand what's going on in the world, but they also understand what sells. They understand what works out there and what doesn't work out there. And when he came in before the mashup, he took what worked on this boot and what worked on this boot, and that's what he put together to make the rainboot for the woman. And I thought that was I like that. I think that's a good designer. One thing he said, he calls this an all encompassing shoe, just so that you know. And this is what I didn't understand. He said, there's something quirky and funny about this shoe. And I'm thinking a shoe that's funny. Okay.
Reginald Ferguson [00:40:57]:
Clown shoe.
Tiff [00:40:58]:
Right? Exactly. You think of quirky and funny, and I'm looking at these shoes, and I go, I don't see anything funny about I mean, they've got like a military kind of look. They've got kind of like a street wear kind of look, which is exactly.
Reginald Ferguson [00:41:12]:
What they are, new York City vibe.
Tiff [00:41:14]:
And one thing, the traditional tongue label on the Air Force One was turned into a button, and it turns into a pouch. Did you know this?
Reginald Ferguson [00:41:23]:
I did not. I'm about to say what? No.
Tiff [00:41:25]:
I'm going to quote from Complex Interview once again. The idea came from the movie Rescue Dawn with Christian Bale. In that film, he was getting his boots done, and he asked if they could hide a pocket in the tongue for his passport. Oh, we wanted to play off that idea. It's something you wouldn't see on most shoes.
Reginald Ferguson [00:41:43]:
Definitely not.
Tiff [00:41:44]:
So that's when I was like, oh, that's kind of cool. Like that. That's called a pocket and a shoe, Reg. And you know how we like pockets?
Reginald Ferguson [00:41:51]:
I do.
Tiff [00:41:52]:
Right?
Reginald Ferguson [00:41:53]:
I love pockets.
Tiff [00:41:54]:
A pocket and a shoe. So that's what I found that I felt like I could sort of go, okay, I see where Reg is coming from with this. Mean, it's it's it's got its I definitely if I was dog walking in the rain and the wind, it seems like this would be a good shoe. Comfortable. It's got a sneaker feel to it, but it's got a higher whatever that top upper. A higher upper and keeps the rain out. And I could tuck my jeans or my pants down in there, and I'll be snug and dry. So yeah, there's that.
Reginald Ferguson [00:42:33]:
I try.
Tiff [00:42:34]:
Ladies. Must I have it? I'm going to have to say not yet.
Reginald Ferguson [00:42:41]:
Insert buzzer sound.
Tiff [00:42:47]:
But let's not leave it there. Let's not leave it on a down note. Reg, listen, it was a somber note. You did a great job. You did a great job.
Reginald Ferguson [00:42:56]:
Nyfg loves the ladies.
Tiff [00:42:59]:
So let's move on to the next section, which is going to be upbeat and fun and course. Both we like.
Reginald Ferguson [00:43:07]:
Both we like.
Tiff [00:43:08]:
Both we like. And that's our fashion word of the day.
Reginald Ferguson [00:43:17]:
Fashion word? Fashion word of the day.
Tiff [00:43:23]:
So fashion word of the day. We each bring a word to challenge the other. That's a fashion word. You have to spell it, define it, and use it in a sentence.
Reginald Ferguson [00:43:33]:
Yes, ma'am.
Tiff [00:43:36]:
I always wanted to be a school teacher.
Reginald Ferguson [00:43:37]:
I could tell. Thank God for the podcast.
Tiff [00:43:41]:
All right, Reg, you go first. Try to stump.
Reginald Ferguson [00:43:44]:
Kelly bag.
Tiff [00:43:46]:
Kelly bag. Oh, boy. So kelly bag. Clearly it's a bag.
Reginald Ferguson [00:43:56]:
It is.
Tiff [00:43:58]:
But I have to say, I am at a loss as to what a Kelly bag is.
Reginald Ferguson [00:44:04]:
I'm doing our own effects. It's terrible. Like a human beatbox. Yes. Again, since this is the TIFF Takeover episode, I wanted to do something for y'all ladies. Kelly bag is by Hermes. Yep. It's the one that Grace Kelly was rocking.
Tiff [00:44:22]:
Oh, my gosh.
Reginald Ferguson [00:44:24]:
That's right, Elleykelly.
Tiff [00:44:28]:
Oh, there is no E. As in Grace Kelly. Okay, queen Monica.
Reginald Ferguson [00:44:34]:
Well, it's funny you say that, because.
Tiff [00:44:36]:
You know, she's got to been rocking it in a movie.
Reginald Ferguson [00:44:39]:
She was. She got introduced to it by name drop from a previous episode, the late Edith Head.
Tiff [00:44:46]:
Okay.
Reginald Ferguson [00:44:49]:
In to catch a thief. I hope that gets cleaned up.
Tiff [00:44:52]:
I can almost picture that bag. I can almost picture exactly what you're talking about.
Reginald Ferguson [00:44:56]:
So it was used in the movie. The late Grace Kelly loved it and started rocking it ever since and was caught in some famous photo when she was pregnant. She was trying to use the bag to block her baby bump, and it literally became and named the Kelly bag. If you look right now, you can find the Kelly Bag. It's got four studs on the bottom, two straps across padlock. Allegedly, back in the day, when Hermes was first starting up, way before we were ever thought of, I think they put saddles in it.
Tiff [00:45:32]:
Saddles?
Reginald Ferguson [00:45:33]:
A saddle, I think. Don't quote me. Okay, but that could be an I must have it for you in another episode, right? Because that's going for like, 3500.
Tiff [00:45:43]:
Good Lord. I don't know. I'd be afraid to walk down the street carrying a bag like that. Somebody might knock me over the head. So take my bag.
Reginald Ferguson [00:45:51]:
You kind of messed up the spelling, but you could use it in a sentence.
Tiff [00:45:54]:
All right, here's my sentence. When going out for a night on the town, I must never forget my Kelly bag.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:04]:
I hope you don't.
Tiff [00:46:05]:
Me, too. If I get one, I'll never forget that thing.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:09]:
Does this beat? Now the bag. Grace kelly.
Tiff [00:46:16]:
You know, I know the Kelly bag is super structured. The Bruno molly was loosey goosey.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:22]:
Yes, it was.
Tiff [00:46:22]:
And I like that loosey goosey. But listen, if I'm dressing prep, I'm going to have to go with the Kelly bag.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:29]:
Sounds like a battle between the brands.
Tiff [00:46:31]:
Yeah, it is. All right, now it's my turn.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:34]:
Yes.
Tiff [00:46:34]:
So I'm going to look on my many words.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:36]:
As you know, I have always travel one's not enough.
Tiff [00:46:43]:
And I feel like I've already thrown this it's a fashion phrase, not necessarily a word. I've thrown it out there, so I'm going to do it again.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:52]:
All right.
Tiff [00:46:53]:
Hoat. Couture holt.
Reginald Ferguson [00:46:55]:
Couture. H-A-U-T-E-C-A-U-T-R-E.
Tiff [00:47:03]:
So close.
Reginald Ferguson [00:47:04]:
Oh, wait, hold on, hold on. C-O-U-T-E-R even close. What am I doing wrong here? I read this word all the time.
Tiff [00:47:16]:
Couture. Oh, crap coat couture. What is it, Rich?
Reginald Ferguson [00:47:22]:
Keep on doing this. Well, it's a level of design that's exclusive, high end, priced only for an exclusive clientele. It's not ready to wear.
Tiff [00:47:35]:
Yes. With one additional thing. It's constructed by hand.
Reginald Ferguson [00:47:41]:
Yes. It's from scratch. Yes, sorry about that.
Tiff [00:47:43]:
Fashion that is constructed by hand from start to finish, by leading fashion houses. If you can afford hoat couture, you.
Reginald Ferguson [00:47:51]:
Are not listening to this podcast.
Tiff [00:47:55]:
You are not everyday man or woman.
Reginald Ferguson [00:47:59]:
You could just look down and what are they talking about? Pass it along, y'all. Spread the love.
Tiff [00:48:08]:
Of course, that ties into Zach Posen because that's what he's doing now. He's got his hoke couture atte doing a very awesome job. So that's that for the everyday man. Hoke couture. It's out know. And if you go from the everyday man to hoke couture, you are definitely doing something right.
Reginald Ferguson [00:48:29]:
Would you like me to use it in a sentence, please? If I'm thinking about ho couture, I'm not thinking about me. I'm thinking about Queen Elizabeth because she makes appointments for Holt Couture.
Tiff [00:48:45]:
All right, very nice bringing Her Majesty in.
Reginald Ferguson [00:48:48]:
I try. I messed up. That spelling dog gone.
Tiff [00:48:51]:
It's okay. And let's leave it on a royal note then, shall we?
Reginald Ferguson [00:48:56]:
Okay, well, thank you so much for tuning in, you all. Especially for those who reviewed our episodes. I got to do that all over. This one's being edited so well. That's a wrap. Reginald Ferguson [00:49:24]:
Of course, he's the engine that keeps the Nyfg running. I love trains.
Tiff [00:49:34]:
We're being a little silly today.
Reginald Ferguson [00:49:35]:
A little bit. And not through liquids.
Tiff [00:49:40]:
Right, just from Vibing, this is our.
Reginald Ferguson [00:49:41]:

Reginald Ferguson [00:50:12]:
It's been squashed.
Tiff [00:50:13]:
I just want to hold that purse again.
Reginald Ferguson [00:50:16]:
You may.
Tiff [00:50:17]:
I want to pet it. I want to pet it every time I go in there.
Reginald Ferguson [00:50:19]:
