Reginald Ferguson [00:02:35]: I would never like to accept that title out of respect for people who were born and raised in Brooklyn. Tiff [00:02:42]: Oh. I was born born in Florida, raised in North Carolina, made my way to New York, and I've been in New York longer than I was anywhere else in my life. I consider myself a New Yorker now. They hold 2 floors and, essentially, all the suites The exhibitors use as their space. It's really cool. Tiff [00:05:41]: And they're loaded with fabrics? Reginald Ferguson [00:05:44]: I definitely spy some fabrics, Tiffany. No question. Tiff [00:05:49]: Did you touch a lot of fabrics? Reginald Ferguson [00:05:51]: I did not. You didn't? I didn't. Tiff [00:05:53]: You just looked at them. Reginald Ferguson [00:05:55]: I glanced. Well, I invited you to come, but you were probably in who knows? Somewhere spanning the globe. Tiff [00:06:05]: I have no idea. My head's spinning. I've been moving around so much. I'm ready to put some roots down. Reginald Ferguson [00:06:11]: Oh, sure. Yeah. Right. But it was a great opportunity. Like I said, I missed it last year. They kept me in the loop. It was the month of July, and it was for 3 days, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I only went on Saturday and Sunday, and I fell in love. Reginald Ferguson [00:06:30]: I found my tribe Tiff [00:06:31]: Awesome. Reginald Ferguson [00:06:32]: As people like to say. Tiff [00:06:34]: Awesome. Reginald Ferguson [00:06:35]: Definitely, I'd be remiss if I didn't give out some shout outs. Big shout outs to Peter Antoniades of Antoniades Textile Group. Pete. The lads at English Cloth, Simon Gavin. Nice guys. Joseph Genuardi, Los Torres Taylors, Francois and Hassib at MTM Design, Guy Milanazzo at Gladson. That's where you would've lost your mind. Tiff [00:07:09]: I would have been thinking of my, amazing Technicolor dreamcoat I'd put together with all the little I just Reginald Ferguson [00:07:14]: Oh my gosh. Tiff [00:07:15]: That would have made that would be awesome. Right? Reginald Ferguson [00:07:18]: It that would be it would be I Tiff [00:07:19]: could do it. Reginald Ferguson [00:07:20]: It would be interesting. Tiff [00:07:20]: I would do it. So one thing I learned about, CTDA and Reginald Ferguson [00:07:24]: my Of course. Tiff [00:07:25]: My reading Reginald Ferguson [00:07:26]: Yes. Tiff [00:07:27]: Is that they are also, one of the people that help Produced fashion week, New York Fashion Week. I did not know that. Reginald Ferguson [00:07:35]: I did not know that either. Tiff [00:07:36]: Yeah. They're one of the, well, you know, they help make it happen. Reginald Ferguson [00:07:40]: Really? Tiff [00:07:40]: Yep. So they have a part in that. Reginald Ferguson [00:07:42]: That's very interesting. Tiff [00:07:43]: Yeah. It's interesting because since New York Fashion Week is coming up. Tiff [00:07:57]: I I don't know. Did yeah. My little calendar has it's filled with September. Of course. All the way to October 1st. Reginald Ferguson [00:08:06]: Oh, what a surprise. Tiff [00:08:07]: And I'm supposed to start a job on October 2nd. Oh. Reginald Ferguson [00:08:09]: So Yeah. Tiff [00:08:10]: Knock on wood. Knock on wood. Everybody knock on wood. Send good energy, good vibes. But, yeah. We'll see. We could we see what I can, what I can cook up. Maybe I'll have a day or 2. Tiff [00:08:22]: We can Slipped something in there. Reginald Ferguson [00:08:24]: I would, I would appreciate that. But getting back to CTDA, yes, I plan to go back in January. My boy Gavin at English Cloth, who was so nice to me, really welcomed me, and everyone did. I met so many people, and, essentially, they were like, hey. Just keep on coming back because that's how the relationships are really established. Tiff [00:08:44]: And it's a it's it's a network opportunity for you to meet these Tailors and designers that can you can, you know, introduce your clients to Reginald Ferguson [00:08:54]: Yes. Tiff [00:08:54]: If they want something that's Made especially for them, custom made with specialty fabrics. This is you're the go between between your client and these people at CTDA. Reginald Ferguson [00:09:05]: Absolutely. Tiff [00:09:06]: It's the Custom Tailors and Designers Association. It sounds like amazing. Right? I mean, it sounds like Perfect place for you. Reginald Ferguson [00:09:13]: Oh, yeah. No. I was in love. I mean and I was shown love. Tiff [00:09:17]: Good. Reginald Ferguson [00:09:17]: That's what that's what I really enjoyed. Met people, networked, Wrapped. Went to very cool events. No. I didn't take any classes. My hope and plan is to take the classes hopefully in January. Tiff [00:09:28]: Well, this time, you'll know about it beforehand. You'll be able to definitely get in. Reginald Ferguson [00:09:31]: Yeah. And I I knew for July, but it just a budgetary Situation to be candid. So I was just like, ah, let me hold off. And, also, I just wanted to really see what it was about. There was, an opening reception that I attended after, that 1st day on Saturday. Like I said, I went Saturday Sunday, hung out, met people, networked, developed relationships. Tiff [00:09:53]: Good. That's good. Makes you a more valuable, consultant because you have all these resources behind you. Reginald Ferguson [00:10:01]: Absolutely. Absolutely. There's no question about it. And just looking forward to because I am a creature of habit, just to go back every 6 months, touch base with new people, revisit with now old people, so to speak. So I definitely wanna take classes. And you're absolutely correct, and I received that advice as well. Just really focusing on Taylor's. I had some appointments. Reginald Ferguson [00:10:28]: We We could talk about that in another episode, but certainly developed some relationships. But being that go between to your point, I've always felt is important, and it was reaffirmed. Tiff [00:10:39]: You have more tools in your tool belt? Reginald Ferguson [00:10:41]: Yes. Maybe maybe it'll be a box too. Tiff [00:10:46]: Oh. Belt. Yeah. Reginald Ferguson [00:10:48]: Like that because, you know, you're about accessories. Tiff [00:10:50]: Yeah. Of course. Reginald Ferguson [00:10:51]: That's some foreshadowing. Tiff [00:10:53]: Wonder why you said that. But before we move on to that, let's talk about you did something else really fun. You had a fun weekend recently. Reginald Ferguson [00:11:00]: I did. I always have a fun weekend. Tiff [00:11:02]: Okay. Well, this one in particular. Come on. Make it easy for me here. I know. Geek number 1. Reginald Ferguson [00:11:08]: I'm being coy, Tiffany. Tiff [00:11:10]: Yes. You are. What'd you do this weekend? Reginald Ferguson [00:11:12]: I went to Afropunk. Tiff [00:11:14]: Yay. You always have fun. You always loved telling me stories about your time there. Reginald Ferguson [00:11:19]: I love going to Afropunk, especially because back in the day, I had to be dragged to go. So so big shout out to Jocelyn and Matt, My friends who are also the creators of Afropunk. When they started in Dumbo, and I was like, they're like, no. This is a perfect for you. I was like, Now you can't stop me from going. Big shout out to Ecorist as well. I helped them out. Tiff [00:11:46]: They were guests on our show prior. Reginald Ferguson [00:11:48]: They were, and I was a guest of their booth helping them out. Tiff [00:11:52]: They're killing it from the way I see. They're hitting festivals left and right With their with their wristwatches and their, Reginald Ferguson [00:12:00]: Pocket watches. Tiff [00:12:01]: Watches, neck watch necklaces. Reginald Ferguson [00:12:03]: Yes. Tiff [00:12:04]: Good for them. Reginald Ferguson [00:12:04]: Yes. Tiff [00:12:05]: Good. Good. Good. Reginald Ferguson [00:12:06]: So we got to collab, and I helped them out in more ways than 1. You know what I'm talking about. Tiff [00:12:13]: So Afropunk is a it's it's music. Is there music? Reginald Ferguson [00:12:17]: Yes. Oh, definitely. Tiff [00:12:18]: There's music. There are vendors, arts and crafts, clothing, all kinds of, retail vendors. Reginald Ferguson [00:12:24]: Yes. But I think the most important thing is it provides a very fertile ground for expression through fashion. Tiff [00:12:36]: Exactly. That's what I want so how how did you express yourself, Reg? Reginald Ferguson [00:12:42]: Boringly. Tiff [00:12:43]: Really? Reginald Ferguson [00:12:44]: Absolutely. Listen. I'm not trying to compete with these kids. Tiff [00:12:48]: Come on. Let last year, you rocked it. Reginald Ferguson [00:12:51]: No. Last year, I felt pressure. Tiff [00:12:53]: You were sweating a little last year. Reginald Ferguson [00:12:55]: I was sweating it a lot. Yeah. I was like, these young kids. I'm gonna show them. I'm gonna show them. Tiff [00:13:01]: Well, let me just say you didn't wear a suit, did you? No. Okay. Good. Reginald Ferguson [00:13:06]: However, there was 1 year that I did come with a dress shirt and tie and khakis, and I was teased by my Friends. It was coming from somewhere. I had to dress like, I don't care. I didn't have a jacket on. I had a job. So no. I kept it really simple this year, to be honest, Tiff. Rocked a rocked a graphic tee Saturday and Sunday. Reginald Ferguson [00:13:36]: Saturday was Pac, and I always like to rock my Pac t shirt when I go to Afropunk because I feel that he embodies the spirit of Afropunk. Tiff [00:13:44]: Nice. Reginald Ferguson [00:13:45]: I think there's no question about that. Tiff [00:13:47]: Was he did he ever attend an Afropunk festival Reginald Ferguson [00:13:50]: Not that I'm aware of. Tiff [00:13:51]: Living years? Reginald Ferguson [00:13:52]: No. No. I think Tiff [00:13:53]: He's just there spiritually? Reginald Ferguson [00:13:55]: Yes. Absolutely. So I feel like he definitely has an influence to it. And that's why that's why I like to rock that shirt. It's also a very distinct shirt. No one has it. Tiff [00:14:07]: No? No. How do you get a one of a kind Tupac shirt? Reginald Ferguson [00:14:12]: Go to the one of a kind store. Tiff [00:14:16]: Is this one of those secrets you're not giving away? Reginald Ferguson [00:14:18]: Purchase. Listen. Ever since growing up I have to chuckle about this. Ladies and gentlemen, we all know, ever since growing up, when you've made a purchase on something, you always told somebody no one else has this. Tiff [00:14:29]: Oh. Oh. Reginald Ferguson [00:14:31]: Yeah. I mean, that's just that's the it's the novelty. Like, you get something and you love it. It could be a shirt. It could be sneakers. It could be jeans. Whatever it is, glass or whatever it is, you're really trying to make sure that no one in your crew, in your click has this item. Tiff [00:14:48]: Oh, that wasn't the way with me. We always said you like something. Oh, yeah. I got it at TG and Y or I got Peebles. Reginald Ferguson [00:14:55]: No. No. No. Not in New York. Tiff [00:14:56]: Tell people where you got it so they can get it. No. I didn't Or you say, I got this at Neiman Marcus just to be a status thing. Reginald Ferguson [00:15:04]: No. No. In New York, it's all about The Secret. Tiff [00:15:09]: Oh, I learned something new today. Reginald Ferguson [00:15:11]: It's all it's all about secrets. Tiff [00:15:12]: Alright. We gotta keep it secret where you get your stuff. Reginald Ferguson [00:15:14]: Absolutely. Alright. Comes up to you and goes, where'd you get that? I totally go back to when I was a kid. I'm like, I know. I'll give a great example. 2 years ago, I believe, my boy Scotty Scott, Scott Wallman, Big shout out. He saw my slip on sneaker shoes, and he was like I noticed he was checking them out, and we're both native New Yorkers. So to me, this is hearken back to when we were growing up. Reginald Ferguson [00:15:41]: And I was like, what what's up, man? He was like, you know, those are nice, man. I was like, where'd you where'd you get those? I was like, you know, I'm not telling you. Tiff [00:15:50]: Because I don't want you to have another payer just like it. Absolutely. Oh, that's interesting. Reginald Ferguson [00:15:54]: That's how it works. So Good to know. Absolutely. That's that's New York rule. Alright. That's New York Tiff [00:16:00]: You asked me you asked me now what I'm wearing where I got. I couldn't tell you. I don't know. Alright. So I forget. Reginald Ferguson [00:16:09]: But I really again, I really like seeing all these young kids just really be so individual in their steez. It could be Afrofuturism, you know, straight up Afropunk. But just just these elements, just The cross dressing, the binary, it's just very interesting. It doesn't apply to me, but I can appreciate it, and I can respect it. Tiff [00:16:35]: Nice. Reginald Ferguson [00:16:36]: And if you look at my Instagram, no. It doesn't have the most notorious looks. Afropunk takes very good care of that on their social. But Tiff [00:16:45]: Speaking of Instagram, what is your Instagram? Tell everybody where they can find you. Reginald Ferguson [00:16:50]: New York fashion geek. All one word. Spell it out. Tiff [00:16:54]: New York fashion geek. Reginald Ferguson [00:16:56]: Yes. So there's a post that I have, and really it's just people candidly coming up to the Ecorist booth. And if I if I liked it, I told him to hold up. I took a photo. A matter of fact, There's 1 couple. It was this dude with the, Beyonce lemonade T shirt. You could see it on my Insta post. He took a photo of me because he was like, that's what's up about my POC shirt. Tiff [00:17:19]: You got recognized too. Reginald Ferguson [00:17:20]: Still relevant. Tiff [00:17:22]: Well, I'm sure you saw a lot of interesting, Accessories that, everybody was rocking too. Reginald Ferguson [00:17:30]: Mind boggling. I can't even describe them. Tiff [00:17:32]: So that's Reginald Ferguson [00:17:32]: Particularly particularly hair adornments. Tiff [00:17:36]: Nice. Reginald Ferguson [00:17:36]: Yeah. Tiff [00:17:37]: I have to go to their Instagram and and check that out. I was, segueing into our next segment, which we have happen to have today. Reginald Ferguson [00:17:44]: And what is that, Tiff? Tiff [00:17:45]: That is the accessorize to maximize. Reginald Ferguson [00:18:02]: Payment. Oh, boy. Tiff [00:18:05]: So this segment, we've, we've we've touched on it in the past a time or two, but it's, it's about, You know, wearing accessories along with your everyday wear or your suit to just step up your game. And today, we're gonna be talking about men's jewelry. Oh, wow. And we're talking about from cuff links to tie pins to rings. You know? There's so much jewelry. You know? When to wear what, what's good, what's not. Simple to blinged out, which I'm sorry. I'm sure you saw a lot of blinged out very self expressive stuff this weekend. Reginald Ferguson [00:18:39]: Yeah. Yeah. But not from a jewelry standpoint, just from a clothing standpoint. Tiff [00:18:42]: Oh, really? Reginald Ferguson [00:18:42]: Could argue yeah. Yeah. I mean because Tiff [00:18:44]: jewelry is all can be anything and everything that's, See, you know, you talked about hair adornments. You talked could be necklaces. Reginald Ferguson [00:18:51]: Okay. So now so maybe Tiff [00:18:53]: Let me just talk about So I have a list of men's jewelry, which kinda surprised me. Do you want me to read this read this out? Reginald Ferguson [00:19:00]: Of course, you have a list, Tiff. The Research Queen. Tiff [00:19:03]: Well, because I wanted you know, if I'm gonna talk about this, because I I Reginald Ferguson [00:19:07]: think be about it. Tiff [00:19:08]: I gotta be about it, and I gotta know what Are all of the possibilities of men's jewelry? Because I know female jewelry, and I I don't know if you I accessorize to maximize myself today. I don't know if you You Reginald Ferguson [00:19:18]: have a lot of wrinkles there too? Tiff [00:19:20]: Yeah. Yeah. And my bohemian look, I can layer it on. Reginald Ferguson [00:19:23]: You got a little boho there, channeling little Janice. Cuff links and shirt studs, Thai accents, the tie pin, the tie bar, the tie chain, rings, lapel pins, Belt buckles, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, other piercings, ethnic jewelry, military jewelry, religious Jewelry, and then we've got jewelry to avoid, which is pretty hysterical. Reginald Ferguson [00:20:06]: That's a that's a lot of stuff. I mean Did Tiff [00:20:09]: you know that you you could possibly wear all of that? Reginald Ferguson [00:20:11]: You wouldn't wanna wear it all of it at once too. Yes. Tiff [00:20:14]: So that was one of the parts one of the things I wanted to talk about that we wanna first, I guess touch on is so everything I read and everything I've seen, men are kinda challenged about When to wear, what jewelry, and how much of it to wear, and what kind to wear. I've had this conversation with my husband. I've, in in passing with other guys after this conversation, and I see you know, walking down the street, and I see a lot of Opportunities that men are taking and just adding a little bit of, you know, panache to their suit or something. And then I'll see another guy Wearing something very casual and and having the jewelry game strong. And I it's just I think it's just a matter of information, So I would like to give that information. And one of the articles I found said, I guess, we're we're gonna talk about 2 Two things. Four rules for men wearing jewelry Reginald Ferguson [00:21:12]: Alright. Tiff [00:21:13]: And then 7 jewelry mistakes men make. Reginald Ferguson [00:21:16]: So the 4 and the 7. Yeah. Tiff [00:21:17]: The 4 and the 7. So let's start with the mistakes because I think we can get everybody everybody can be on board and go, oh, yeah. Yeah. Do that. And then we'll talk about Take the mistakes, and we'll turn it into rules. Reginald Ferguson [00:21:29]: Alright. Tiff [00:21:30]: So the first mistake, not wearing jewelry with confidence. What does that mean exactly? That means that, You know, you're wearing it, and you're kinda sort of, like, not not owning it. You're putting it on, and you're kinda not really comfortable in it, and you just sort of, I'm sure you're futzing with it, or you're covering it with your sleeve if it's a bracelet, or you're tucking it in your shirt, if it's a necklace or If you're gonna wear a piece of jewelry, wear it with confidence. Put it on and say, boom. This is part of my wardrobe. And in doing that, you're gonna make sure you pick Things that that work with whatever you're wearing, whether it be a suit or a shirt and tie or a T shirt and dungarees. I used your term there. Reginald Ferguson [00:22:14]: Yes. Tiff [00:22:14]: So that was, mistake number 1. The other 1 is not paying attention to your environment. So when you're wearing jewelry, you gotta make sure you know what environment you're gonna be in. You don't wanna wear, a suit with a lot of jewelry to a funeral. You you see what I'm saying? Reginald Ferguson [00:22:30]: Yeah. Tiff [00:22:30]: I know. Or you don't wanna go to a job interview, that says, you know Reginald Ferguson [00:22:36]: And you're Clinking and Yeah. Tiff [00:22:37]: You're clinking or you're, you know, modest jewelry requested, and you're where you're breaking out your 4 Layered bracelets and, your mister t necklaces. Yeah. That's not gonna work. Know your environment. Know where you're going. Reginald Ferguson [00:22:50]: I pity the fool. Challenge me at this interview. Tiff [00:22:52]: That's right. And I saw the funniest picture in one of the articles I read, and it was Mister t? Yes. Reginald Ferguson [00:22:58]: Hello, mister t. Tiff [00:22:59]: It was a picture. Reginald Ferguson [00:23:00]: Double lang. Tiff [00:23:01]: It was the funniest it was titled the funniest White House picture ever taken, and it was Nancy Reagan sitting on mister T's lap Reginald Ferguson [00:23:07]: I have seen this. Tiff [00:23:08]: When he's in a Santa suit, and he's given her a mister t doll in a box, and she's kissing a mouse for it. Reginald Ferguson [00:23:16]: You love mister t. Tiff [00:23:17]: In the White House. I love it. It was funny. Reginald Ferguson [00:23:20]: A pity fool. Petty Tiff [00:23:21]: fool. I used to love the a team. So the other mistake, Overaccessorizing. Speaking of mister t. Reginald Ferguson [00:23:28]: I love it when a plane gets together. Tiff [00:23:30]: So listen. He it rocked For him because that was his thing. Totally. Reginald Ferguson [00:23:34]: Yes. It totally worked. Tiff [00:23:36]: It worked because that was his thing. Reginald Ferguson [00:23:37]: And that's why we called it the mister t starter kit for anyone who had more than 1 chain But in the day. Tiff [00:23:42]: Reg. And, slick Reginald Ferguson [00:23:44]: r r y. Oh, yeah. Tiff [00:23:46]: Yes. We Reginald Ferguson [00:23:46]: should talk about slick r r y. Tiff [00:23:48]: But it wouldn't work for Reg. Reg, I don't I can't see you rocking that many necklaces. Reginald Ferguson [00:23:53]: Back in the day, I I I never had a Doki rope, but I had a rope. No question. I brought him in on my top. Tiff [00:24:00]: That was when you had your little, high top? Reginald Ferguson [00:24:03]: My little? No. It was more than little. I had a high top fade. Me and the cane. Can you influence me while I know that? But, yes, I had I had a rope, and I had a dope herringbone. I had a mini herringbone, and then I got a really dope thick herringbone. Tiff [00:24:20]: Did you wear them both at the same time? Reginald Ferguson [00:24:22]: Yes. Tiff [00:24:23]: Well, because that was a thing. In the eighties, that was a thing. Reginald Ferguson [00:24:26]: Yes. The mini herringbone also had a 8th note, which people thought was a Coke spoon. Ridiculous. I just love music. So yeah. Yeah. So I had a little I had a little But Tiff [00:24:40]: you were over accessorized. Now I'm talking about I Reginald Ferguson [00:24:43]: had a little gold. Tiff [00:24:44]: Yeah. You gotta make sure you don't wear I Reginald Ferguson [00:24:46]: didn't rock it when I had a suit on. But, typically, that big herringbone, it was just was too thick. That herringbone was dope. Tiff [00:24:52]: Where is it? Reginald Ferguson [00:24:55]: Got ripped off. No. Yep. Not the way that the 2 of you think. Oh. Housekeeper. Tiff [00:25:06]: Damn. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:07]: Yep. Get robbed by my housekeeper. Tiff [00:25:10]: Oh, that sucks. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:11]: My first housekeeper. Tiff [00:25:12]: I can't believe you got another one after that. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:15]: It took some time. But, yeah, That's a story for another day. Tiff [00:25:18]: Maybe your housekeeper was saving you from overaccessorizing. Well Reginald Ferguson [00:25:22]: Balam bump. Oh, that was terrible. Tiff [00:25:24]: I'm sorry. I was just trying to make a joke. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:26]: Yeah. Well, my misfortune. Tiff [00:25:28]: Moving on. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:29]: Yes. Tiff [00:25:30]: So the another mistake, wearing jewelry that's unbalanced. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:34]: What does that mean to? Tiff [00:25:35]: I know you're gonna ask that. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:36]: Because I really don't know. Tiff [00:25:38]: So what I'm doing right now is a little unbalanced, and I did it on purpose. Reginald Ferguson [00:25:42]: Unbalanced or imbalanced? Tiff [00:25:43]: Unbalanced. Meaning so for the viewers I mean, for the listeners who can't view because, you know, this is a podcast. Not. I got a big old chunky bracelet with a big old chunky ring on my On my right hand. But on my left hand, I have my wedding ring, wedding band, and my school ring, and that's it. So it's kinda like I got Chunky and big on my right, which is kinda heavy, but on my left, it's kind of sort of understated and light. Reginald Ferguson [00:26:08]: Seems Tiff [00:26:09]: That's unbalanced. You wanna wear similar things on both sides. Like, to even this up, I should have a watch on my left hand Oh. To even up. Do you get it now? Reginald Ferguson [00:26:19]: I do when you say that. Tiff [00:26:20]: When you balance it, you know, you know, wear 1 ring on one hand, another ring on the other, that kind of thing, or bracelet On the right and a ring on the left if you're just wearing a wedding ring or something like that. Reginald Ferguson [00:26:31]: So for the listeners, I'm gonna I'm gonna test you, Tiff, because it's funny that you have this topic, and you don't ask what your cohost is wearing today. Tiff [00:26:40]: Alright. Let's see what you got rocking. Reginald Ferguson [00:26:42]: Well, I'm very understated. Tiff [00:26:44]: Yes. Perfect. Go ahead. Reginald Ferguson [00:26:46]: Okay. Well, ladies and gentlemen, on my left, adorned is a boulevard 19 fifties tank watch. Tiff [00:26:58]: Nice. Very nice. Leather leather with leather wristband. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:02]: Leather band, beveled glass, Smoothie smooth. Tiff [00:27:05]: That is nice. We'll talk about that when we go to the 4 tips. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:08]: Sure. On my right is my school ring from NYU, from Stern. Tiff [00:27:14]: K. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:15]: And that's my birthstone. It's emerald. Tiff [00:27:18]: And it's in, yellow gold? Reginald Ferguson [00:27:21]: Yes. Yep. And I I designed my own ring. Tiff [00:27:24]: Oh, that's cool. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:24]: So and Have my cool 1 Brooklyn band in white. Tiff [00:27:32]: Now the 1 Brooklyn band is a, it's a support for something. Right? Reginald Ferguson [00:27:38]: No. I got it at a basketball tournament Tiff [00:27:41]: Okay. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:42]: At Barclays. Tiff [00:27:43]: But it means something to you. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:44]: Yeah. Absolutely. And I live in Brooklyn, so there's 1 Brooklyn. Tiff [00:27:46]: You know? So it's it's kind of like what they call a cause bracelet. It's similar to the Livestrong Yes. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:51]: It is. Tiff [00:27:51]: Type of thing. It's something that means something to you in a cause bracelet. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:54]: Absolutely. Tiff [00:27:55]: And that's Perfectly you are perfectly balanced. Reginald Ferguson [00:27:57]: I try. Tiff [00:27:58]: You have a great you you've got it you've got it going on. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:00]: I'm all about simplicity. Tiff [00:28:02]: Yes. You are. And I would just wanna well, we'll get to that in the 4 tips. But, very good. I I applaud you. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:08]: Thank you. Thank you. Tiff [00:28:08]: I applaud you in your balance. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:09]: Thank you. Thank you, Tiffany. Tiff [00:28:11]: So let's move on because I don't wanna take academy. I don't wanna take too long. Keep going over this over. So the next mistake, not choosing best pieces for your skin tone. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:22]: Oh, how interesting is that as a topic. Tiff [00:28:26]: Well, it's about, most importantly, the metal. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:30]: Is black, and one of us isn't. Tiff [00:28:32]: Right. And so it makes Reginald Ferguson [00:28:33]: is pale, and one of us isn't. Tiff [00:28:35]: And it it makes a difference as to the color of metals that look best on your skin. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:39]: My mom used to talk about that. Tiff [00:28:41]: Yes. So for you, you are a dark skin tone, and you're wearing gold. You. A yeah. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:49]: Well Yeah. But I in the Tiff [00:28:51]: You're a lovely shade of brown. Reginald Ferguson [00:28:52]: Thank you. But in the black spectrum, I'm, I'm light. Tiff [00:28:56]: Yes? Okay. Well, one of the keys is to turn over and look at your wrist And look at your veins. So Reginald Ferguson [00:29:02]: I have veins for days. Tiff [00:29:04]: If your veins are blue Reginald Ferguson [00:29:05]: They are. Tiff [00:29:06]: In color, then you're a cool. You're a very cool skin tone. Reginald Ferguson [00:29:11]: I thought that was cool. Tiff [00:29:12]: If they're greenish in skin tone, you're more you should wear more warm. So that would be gold medals. Reginald Ferguson [00:29:18]: What about bluish green? Tiff [00:29:19]: And I think maybe you are green. Maybe you're miss Okay. So the the yellow gold looks beautiful on you. I think it matches your skin tone wonderfully. Whereas, I don't know You notice I wear white gold because I have a cool I have cool skin undertones. Cool. So I would wear platinum If I could afford it. I wear silver and white gold. Tiff [00:29:41]: And I put on yellow gold, and it kinda sorta doesn't I mean, I can wear it, Reginald Ferguson [00:29:45]: but it Tiff [00:29:45]: doesn't really. And if you look, I've got a brassy, coppery color on. And that color, brass and copper, Those work best with neutral skin tones. Those who have veins that look like they're both blue, and they're both green. See? It's a science. Yeah. Reginald Ferguson [00:30:04]: I had no clue. Yeah. Tiff [00:30:06]: So that's and I kinda discovered this when I was younger. I was wearing, you know, the gold jewelry, and I tried I discovered white gold, and I'm like, I think that looks so much better on my skin. And I just pretty much changed everything to white gold. Reginald Ferguson [00:30:19]: Gotcha. Tiff [00:30:20]: So you would do that. You know? You would make sure you do that with your with your clothing as well, you know, not just your jewelry. It's Oh, Reginald Ferguson [00:30:29]: I I definitely understand it from a clothing perspective. Tiff [00:30:31]: So it's the exact same science. Oh. It's exact same thing. Reginald Ferguson [00:30:34]: Did not know that. Tiff [00:30:35]: Yeah. So as the next one is, the biggest one of the biggest mistakes that guys make is that they assume that all jewelry is feminine Because, you know, it's you know, only women wear it. And the article I read gave, you know, listed, you know, Historical fact after historical fact of men wearing jewelry coming from the pope's ring to the, the Egyptian kings would wear those big Collars Reginald Ferguson [00:30:59]: Yeah. Tiff [00:31:00]: That were Chestplate. Yeah. That were adorned with jewelry Yeah. That they would gift to each other. I mean, that's jewelry. And then you, you know, you go to the medieval times, and everybody was rocking jewelry from the men to the women, and that just trend that went went all the way into time. Somehow, in this day and age, it's become men think that I can't wear jewelry because it it's gonna make me Effeminate, but that's not the case. It it's not the case anymore Reginald Ferguson [00:31:29]: Got it. Tiff [00:31:29]: If it was ever that way. I mean, I know during the eighties, the men were rocking the earrings like Crazy. And now I've also all other kind of adornments, lip rings, earrings, nose rings. All the rings are out there. Ring rings. Reginald Ferguson [00:31:45]: They were at Afro Funk. Tiff [00:31:47]: Because it's beautiful. Jewelry is beautiful. You just have to be confident in what you wear. Understood. So the very last 7 mistakes. Reginald Ferguson [00:31:58]: Yes. Tiff [00:31:59]: Not wearing jewelry in proportion to your body. Now I'm sure this is obvious to you. Reginald Ferguson [00:32:04]: I mean, yes or no. I mean, even, our producer searches made a face. What does that mean? Tiff [00:32:09]: Well, that means, if you are a big hulking guy, don't wear a teeny tiny bracelet that's cutting into your skin. And vice versa, if you're a slight build fella, don't wear big old fat face watch That that's bigger in diameter than the size of your wrist. Reginald Ferguson [00:32:30]: Guys, this is still a thing. Stop doing this. Stop rocking that Panerai if you have a itty bitty wrist. Like, for example, I'm a keep it real. I'm pretty big dude. I have fine wrist. There's no question. That's where why I wear vintage watches because back then in the era, men weren't compensated. Reginald Ferguson [00:32:55]: They knew who they were. Tiff [00:32:57]: Oh, is that what's going on? Reginald Ferguson [00:32:59]: Oh, absolutely. If you got a pie plate on your wrist Tiff [00:33:02]: A pie plate. Reginald Ferguson [00:33:04]: Stop. Tiff [00:33:04]: Yeah. I have to say I was guilty of this. When I in high school, the bigger the face, the watch, the better. I wanted But again, we're all men's watches. Reginald Ferguson [00:33:13]: But okay. And women still do that. Like, I see that as a thing again. So what's old is what's new. I think that's a, very clear exception. Tiff [00:33:20]: Because I'm making a statement. I'm doing something. I'm making I'm expressing myself, and I'm doing it confidently. But, yeah, if you're gonna in a in a in a well heeled, well dressed Society or environment that you might be going to. Don't wear your big ass round pie plate, I love that, With your suit. It just doesn't work. Reginald Ferguson [00:33:41]: Nope. Tiff [00:33:42]: And big chunky bracelets. If you've got a I like how you call it. A fine wrist. Reginald Ferguson [00:33:46]: Yeah. No. And your shirt collar. Like, even me, every once in a while, there's a watch, and none of my watches are big. Right? I have other watches, but you've seen some of them. Every once in a while, a shirt cuff won't fit. And I'm like, oh, and none of my watches are big. Tiff [00:34:01]: And that means your watch is too big. If your shirt cuff won't go over your watch, you've got too big a watch on. And that's the 7 mistakes. Reginald Ferguson [00:34:09]: Yipes. Tiff [00:34:10]: I know. But let's let's let's fix the problem. Reginald Ferguson [00:34:13]: What you got? Tiff [00:34:14]: We we've discerned the mistakes. Yes. Let's talk about the rules for men men wearing jewelry, and there's only 4. Reginald Ferguson [00:34:20]: Alright. Tiff [00:34:20]: So That means that it leaves a it leaves a lot of room for, you know, being yourself and expressing yourself through your jewelry, but just keep it To these 4 things. And the very first one is keep it simple. Reginald Ferguson [00:34:34]: Stupid. Tiff [00:34:38]: I was thinking that, but I wasn't gonna say that. Reginald Ferguson [00:34:40]: I s s. Tiff [00:34:41]: You don't you don't wanna you don't wanna make the the everyday guys who are listening to us for help feel Doopie. Reginald Ferguson [00:34:47]: No. Tiff [00:34:48]: It's because Reginald Ferguson [00:34:49]: Empowering them. Educating them. Tiff [00:34:50]: I feel like men's fashion has went through a dormant stage of Of less is more. Less is more. And it's sort of coming into an awakening of, wait, I could do this, and I can do I don't know. How do you feel? Reginald Ferguson [00:35:05]: There's nothing wrong with minimalism. Tiff [00:35:07]: There is nothing wrong, but there's also nothing wrong with adding things To to bring attention. Reginald Ferguson [00:35:12]: Sure. And I'm not a minimalist by any stretch of the imagination. Tiff [00:35:16]: No. Not at all. You wear a pocket square. A minimalist wear, well, nothing at all, But you wear a pocket square. You've got a lapel pin button, the reg button, very famous reg button. And, you know, you've got your your bracelet on, your your watch. You've got the basics. Reginald Ferguson [00:35:30]: Right. That's how I do. Tiff [00:35:31]: And that's what Keeping It Simple is about. You know? Your wedding ring, absolutely. Absolutely. A watch And maybe a bracelet and an earring if you're not going to, you know, anything that's very ultra sort of Conservative funeral, maybe not an earring. I don't know if they know you, maybe. It's your call, but just know your environment like we talked about the mistake before. Reginald Ferguson [00:35:55]: Sure. Tiff [00:35:55]: But the most things you know, the most important thing about keeping it simple is jewelry draws attention, and that's why you wear it. It can start a conversation. It could be a conversation piece Reginald Ferguson [00:36:06]: Certainly. Tiff [00:36:07]: Depending on what environment you're in. Reginald Ferguson [00:36:08]: I feel about, my friends at EcoRisk. Tiff [00:36:11]: Yeah. Absolute. They're it's a piece of art. Reginald Ferguson [00:36:13]: Yes. Tiff [00:36:13]: You wear an eco eco wrist, wristwatch, and it is a piece of art, and people will say something to you about That they will ask you about the watch. Reginald Ferguson [00:36:21]: Absolutely. Tiff [00:36:22]: And accordingly, anything like a necklace that you might wear or a lapel pin that you might wear. Just, You know, keep it simple because it will draw attention. And the more you wear, the more attention you're gonna draw. So depending on your environment, that may or may not work. Reginald Ferguson [00:36:37]: Right. Tiff [00:36:37]: So the other The next which we already touched on. The next tip, rule, match your medals. So Don't be wearing gold, yellow gold, white gold, brass, like I did today to prove a point. Because it just it looks it looks clunky. The one exception would be a wedding ring. So always wear your wedding ring, whatever metal it is, and then choose your other metals. Choose choose uniform metals in your bracelet, in your watch. So if your watch is 2 different kind of metals, whatever the dominant metal is, match your bracelets to that. Tiff [00:37:16]: Match your tie pin or your tie bar Or your little pal pinned to that. You know, if you're gonna wear medals or cufflinks even, make sure they're uniform. Makes sense? Reginald Ferguson [00:37:26]: Yeah. Tiff [00:37:27]: That make it just a cleaner look. Alright. Rule number 3, understand jewelry symbolism. So if you're gonna wear a piece of jewelry, and this I think this, is well, it could be anything, but Lapel pins come to mind. Like, a lot of people wear lapel pins to signify a company they work for, or you're wearing a lapel pin that is It's your you. It's my branding. It is your branding. Some our school the school that they went to or something like that. Tiff [00:38:01]: You just understand that when you're wearing that, that that has meaning, and understand the meaning. And and because people will ask Skew about it and and say, what does that mean? What is that what is that symbol? Kind of like your necklace with the 8th note, and everybody thought it was a Coke spoon. Reginald Ferguson [00:38:18]: No. It was a child. Tiff [00:38:19]: So Reginald Ferguson [00:38:20]: It's just ridiculous. Tiff [00:38:22]: Just know when you're wearing jewelry what it symbolizes. Reginald Ferguson [00:38:27]: And say Snowfall. Tiff [00:38:28]: And that makes that will inform you on, okay, what environment am I going into when I'm dressing up and wanna wear this piece of jewelry? What am I saying? Reginald Ferguson [00:38:36]: Right. Tiff [00:38:37]: So be keen on that. And the last tip, rule, jewelry and dress codes, Always know, once again, the environment. We keep talking about environment. There are dress codes at work in some places. There are dress codes at school in some places. I can't think of anywhere else that require that might have dress codes, but if it's something pops in your head. But with these dress codes, know what jewelry is acceptable and what's not. You don't wanna go walking up, Like the example I used in a funeral wearing adorned with all your mister t necklaces and your earrings and your bracelets and everything else. Reginald Ferguson [00:39:18]: Right. So I think we got it. Tiff [00:39:21]: Now I didn't go into specifics about the different kinds of jewelry. I think that's another time, another program. Reginald Ferguson [00:39:29]: We could Tiff [00:39:30]: deep dive into different things. Most specifically, I'd love my next It's it's the Thai accents. I love the Thai accents, and I don't think guys use them enough. They're they're Practical as well as, as adornments as well, and I think that would be an interesting thing to talk about. Reginald Ferguson [00:39:49]: Yeah. Absolutely. We could Tiff [00:39:50]: Helping guys decide whether they are Thai Tai pen kinda guy, tie bar, or even a tie chain, which I have to say, that was a new one for me I don't know. I don't see a lot of tie chains. Reginald Ferguson [00:40:02]: No. I don't either. Tiff [00:40:02]: It's it's an old thing, I think. Reginald Ferguson [00:40:04]: And don't forget tie clip. Tiff [00:40:06]: And a tie clip. Reginald Ferguson [00:40:07]: There you go. Tiff [00:40:08]: Alright. Reginald Ferguson [00:40:10]: Well, Tiff, that was very interesting. Tiff [00:40:12]: And I wanted Yes? Can I shout it? I I don't know if you noticed. I've I've included this little chart In our Yes. In our episode outline, and I wanna direct, our listeners to that chart. So what it is, it's a chart That goes from easy jewelry to, the last thing says enough already, Liberace. And it basically takes you to you know, if you if you're a man who's willing to start wearing a little bit of jewelry and you wanna start a little bit of time, it tells you how to start. Like, the 1st start would be a wedding ring and a watch with a leather strap. That's your easy entree into the jewelry. No. Tiff [00:40:49]: So the next thing that you might wanna add, a watch with a stainless steel band that takes it up a notch. And then the next level would be a tie bar. So this chart takes you all the way to and I can't tell you everything. It'd take forever. I'm gonna give you the, the address, to find it, but it goes to large gauge metallic necklace along with, stacks Some stacks of nonmetallic bracelets and then man engagement ring and then enough already Liberace because it's got Every if you wore everything that's on this list, that's what you would be. Reginald Ferguson [00:41:25]: Gotcha. Tiff [00:41:26]: So you can find this lovely chart at dappered.com, And it's called the Man Jewelry Difficulty Scale. So you can go from easy to difficult right on this scale. Reginald Ferguson [00:41:38]: I'm staying Tiff [00:41:39]: easy. I think easy works for you. Reginald Ferguson [00:41:42]: I'm easy like Sunday morning. Tiff [00:41:44]: That's nice. Reginald Ferguson [00:41:46]: I try. Tiff [00:41:46]: Very nice. Reginald Ferguson [00:41:48]: Alright, Tiff. Tiff [00:41:49]: Accessorize to maximize. Reginald Ferguson [00:41:51]: That was pretty nifty. Now let's get down to it. Tiff [00:41:56]: Yeah. The next segment that you love. Reginald Ferguson [00:41:59]: I must have it. I must have it. Habit. Habit. Tiff [00:42:11]: And what this is is an item that Reg Absolutely. Feels like every man must have. Reginald Ferguson [00:42:18]: Yes. Tiff [00:42:18]: So what is the I must have it item of the day? Reginald Ferguson [00:42:22]: It is the USA over shirt by Rowing Blazers. Tiff [00:42:28]: An over shirt? Reginald Ferguson [00:42:29]: Yes. Tiff, you seem to be a blank there. So so since you don't understand, let me break it down. Tiff [00:42:35]: I know. I took a moment. I was like, an overshirt? That's just like an overshirt? Reginald Ferguson [00:42:39]: Yes, an over shirt. Tiff [00:42:40]: Okay. Go ahead. Reginald Ferguson [00:42:41]: When you're a kid, you have superheroes, like Superman, Batman, Spiderman. If you're like me, Some of your heroes are people you see everyday, like your grandma, your grandpa, and your mom. You also have sports heroes. I had a few and a whole bunch of sports. One of them was one of our fashion heroes, Michael Jordan, till he start beating the crap out of my team. Tiff [00:43:06]: You'll never let that go. Reginald Ferguson [00:43:07]: No. But another one was Arthur Ashe. Outside of Althea Gibson, which was my mom and my grandparents' era, we didn't have any representation in that sport, and he was a champion. I thought he was cool. And if he if you ever go to Obviously, the the new US Open is the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Yes. If you go to the original Tiff [00:43:36]: Forest Hills. Reginald Ferguson [00:43:37]: Yes. They have Some nice murals. Tiff [00:43:40]: Yes. They do. Reginald Ferguson [00:43:41]: Oh, yes. Tiff [00:43:42]: Oh, I go to Forest Hills all the time. They have concerts there. Reginald Ferguson [00:43:45]: Yes. I've been to the concerts. Yeah. Big shout out to my boy, Joe Hennessy. Without him, I can't go to the concerts. Oh. So I thought Arthur Ashe was cool. He had a fro. Reginald Ferguson [00:43:59]: He wore glasses. I had read his 1st autobiography, which people don't even know about. That's the one with him and Frank Defort. I also have Days of Grace. Tiff [00:44:08]: Wow. Reginald Ferguson [00:44:09]: I was in. And then when he represented the US for the Davis Cup, I remember his warm up jacket. It's navy joint with the dark USA. I always wanted that. I thought it was freaking cool. And now I have my chance. Thanks to Rowan Blazers. Tiff [00:44:28]: Oh, okay. Reginald Ferguson [00:44:29]: Rowan Blazers. Sorry about that. They have something in their collection which is very similar, and that is the USA Rugby Overshirt. It is dope. It's just very rem, reminiscent, and I love it. It's heavy cotton. Bottom line, y'all, I'm going down the ground street to cop 1. Tiff [00:44:50]: Are you seriously? Reginald Ferguson [00:44:51]: I really like it. And that lettering is I'm telling you, is like that USA lettering for that tennis jacket. It's the closest thing to it. And to be honest, this is what fashion can do. Fashion can make you reminisce. And when I saw that, I immediately went back in time. I haven't thought about Arthur Ashe and that jacket ever. I really haven't. Tiff [00:45:20]: Oh, okay. Reginald Ferguson [00:45:21]: So It wasn't so Tiff [00:45:23]: it's a piece of nostalgia for you. Reginald Ferguson [00:45:25]: Yes. Tiff [00:45:25]: Okay. Reginald Ferguson [00:45:26]: Yes. Alright. And and Tiff [00:45:29]: How would you wear it? Reginald Ferguson [00:45:29]: And I'm representing. Tiff [00:45:31]: How would you wear it? It's like a over shirt. And so the silence was that you know, I'm looking I'm looking at you in a suit and tie, and and you when are you and, you know, we talk about the everyday the fashion for the everyday man, and, you know, we really don't. We talk more about the dress up suit, tie. Sure. And the casual stuff kinda sort of throws me for a loop every now and again. So with this over shirt, how would you how would you support it? Reginald Ferguson [00:45:58]: Well. Tiff [00:46:00]: For the everyday man. Reginald Ferguson [00:46:01]: No. I'm saying, well. Well? No. Meaning well. I would sport it well. Oh. Come on, Tiff. Tiff [00:46:09]: I'm, like, looking at you going, okay. Well well, Of course, you would sport it well. But do you wear it over another shirt? Reginald Ferguson [00:46:15]: Do you wear I'll I'll be I'll be more specific. Obviously, I Tiff [00:46:18]: was buzzed going. Over shirt. Reginald Ferguson [00:46:20]: Preceded. So to be honest, the first way I would rock it, I would just have on T shirt undershirt, and put that top on. Obviously, everything's based on temperature. Right? So it's a heavy gauge cotton, so it's pretty thick. I would have that, rock it with some khakis, colored khakis or some dungarees, and pull out some of those dope ass kicks I have, AKA my sneakers. Tiff [00:46:46]: And then go to your sporting event. Reginald Ferguson [00:46:48]: No. And just chill. Tiff [00:46:49]: Oh. No sporting event. No. It doesn't have to be. Reginald Ferguson [00:46:52]: New York City New York City fashion environment is a sport. Tiff [00:46:55]: That is so very true. Reginald Ferguson [00:46:58]: Step outside. You know, like, I I see our producer search, which I don't even know how I've ignored it. It's just because it's been so long since the 3 of us were together. Of course, he's rocking his, Tiff [00:47:10]: His teddy bear. Reginald Ferguson [00:47:11]: His Ralph Lauren. Tiff [00:47:14]: His cute little teddy bear. Reginald Ferguson [00:47:17]: Hey. That's not cute. That's a message. Oh. Him rocking that. He goes outside. That's a shot across the bow. Oh. Reginald Ferguson [00:47:23]: Absolutely. And he knows that. That's why he's nodding silently. Tiff [00:47:27]: Okay. Reginald Ferguson [00:47:27]: So People know that if he has that on, he's down with Polo. Tiff [00:47:34]: Oh, okay. Reginald Ferguson [00:47:34]: So and it's become it's become an iconic element to Ralph Lauren. Tiff [00:47:40]: And it looks new. Yeah. The blue is very vivid. It's beautiful. It looks good with your eyes. Reginald Ferguson [00:47:57]: So yeah. So I would just I would just step out. Kaboom. Tiff [00:48:01]: Alright. Sounds good. I wanna see this. Up in the room. I wanna see this. Takao. I rarely. Reginald Ferguson [00:48:07]: Allen style? No. Search knows. Tiff [00:48:11]: Okay. So, Another one of those moments the 2 of you are having, and I'm just watching from the outside. Reginald Ferguson [00:48:17]: That is correct. It's a African American conversation. Tiff [00:48:21]: Okay. Reginald Ferguson [00:48:22]: So, Yeah. I mean, it's it is a go out to chill top. And I Tiff [00:48:29]: want I wanna see that on you. Reginald Ferguson [00:48:31]: Alright. Well Tiff [00:48:32]: You let me know when you get it. We're gonna Reginald Ferguson [00:48:33]: is coming. Tiff [00:48:34]: We're gonna announce. Christmas? What do you mean Christmas? Tiff [00:48:43]: That's right. Alright. So that was the I must have it. Let's move on to the final segment of the episode, The fashion word of the day. Reginald Ferguson [00:48:59]: Fashion Word. Of the day. Tiff [00:49:04]: And I made a mistake And sent you and sent you my words, so I hope you didn't look at them. Reginald Ferguson [00:49:11]: What words? Tiff [00:49:12]: Oh, good. You didn't see them. Never mind. Don't even look. Don't even look. Reginald Ferguson [00:49:17]: What if what if Tiff [00:49:18]: No. No. Reginald Ferguson [00:49:18]: No. No. Tiff [00:49:19]: Put those papers down. I'm Reginald Ferguson [00:49:20]: well, I'm getting my word. Tiff [00:49:24]: Alright. So this is, this is the segment where we each bring a fashion term to each other. Reginald Ferguson [00:49:31]: I don't know what that was, lazy. Tiff [00:49:32]: And we challenge each other with, you know, a fashion term, spelling it, defining it, and using it in a sentence. So, Reg, do you wanna go 1st, or you want me to go 1st? You Reginald Ferguson [00:49:43]: can go 1st. Tiff [00:49:44]: Alright. So I'm I'm looking at my words that I'm sure you Oh, of course. Reginald Ferguson [00:49:48]: Your words. Tiff [00:49:50]: So the the it's it's a compound word. I mean, it's 2 words make up one word. Reginald Ferguson [00:49:56]: Okay. Tiff [00:49:57]: And it's Nested suit. Say what? Nested suit. Reginald Ferguson [00:50:04]: Alright. Well, you could buzz me now. I mean, I'll get the spelling. Nested, n e s t e d, suit, s u I t. Correct. Yeah. Just for the spelling. Tiff [00:50:16]: You have spelled it correctly. Reginald Ferguson [00:50:17]: Yeah. But I'm getting buzzed for the definition. Tiff [00:50:19]: Go ahead Reginald Ferguson [00:50:19]: and take Tiff [00:50:19]: a stab. What do you think a nested suit is? Reginald Ferguson [00:50:22]: I have no idea. Tiff [00:50:24]: Really? I really don't. Alright. A suit in which jacket and trousers are sold together. The nested suit also sometimes includes a vest compared to suit separates in which jacket and trousers are sold separately. Reginald Ferguson [00:50:37]: Oh, come on. Tiff [00:50:38]: Yeah. I win. Reginald Ferguson [00:50:41]: That was whack. Tiff [00:50:42]: That is no. It's it's a basic term, nested suit. Reginald Ferguson [00:50:46]: I've never heard this. Tiff [00:50:47]: Of getting jacket and trousers separately, I'm gonna I'm gonna get a nested suit. Reginald Ferguson [00:50:51]: Proving that I'm not a tailor.
